old orchard in skokie is nice but they pressure you into purchasing everything in the store. Scotts pet shop in westchester has nice freshwater but it seems that there is at least one dead or dying fish in each of the saltwater tanks. They actually had a half decomposed fish in one of their "live" rock tanks. The best prices i have seen is coral reef in norridge. They dont have the best selection but the prices for some things are great. They had a trigger at scotts for 100 that coral reef had for 50. The best selection in the state has to go to living seas in park ridge. They have so many dam tanks for salt and fresh its unbelievable. The prices are middle of the road i think for most things, except they had a freshwater leo stingray for 1000
