Just wondering if anyone has any first hand knowledge about their growth rate? I've noticed that on the Buy & Sell forum a Caribe a couple inches larger than another will cost a significant amount more. Thanks for any help.
I had several of mine grow between 1.5" and 2" for a few months when they were small, but I was feeding them alot everyday and changing the water twice a week, and had tank temp around 82
Just like Xenon said similar to natt growth rate. You can expect for the caribe to reach 6-7" within the first year given proper diet and optimum water changes growth can vary. At least an inch each year there after at which point tank size becomes an important factor directly affecting growth not to exclude proper diet and optimum water conditions.
