Well my hypothesis was correct in asuming my little Ternetzi would be a problem maker. Yesterday when I got the 2 new Cariba home the 7" Ternetzi began attacking a 10" and a nearly 8" Cariba bitting at their face, tail sides or anything it could get near. It wouldnt give up. I dont understand the whole hostility trip with this fish. It is by no means the alpha piranha, and usually stops this behavior after the first night. But I decided to move the Ternetzi to a different tank so I can have a all Cariba shoal of 5 in my 125g tank. Its amazing the difference in the shoal even after about 8 hours now. They stick together close now (before the would spread out and claim an area and not allow others nearby for the most part). There is a greatly reduced territorial aggression as well, but certainly some territorial disputes. I am very pleased with the way things are shaping up.

I believe that if you put back your tern now things would be different since he will be the newbie facing the band of brothers!

I have 5 cariba and one natt in a 125. I must admit I prefer my caribe. Awesome fish. I wouldn't mind having a ternetzi as well.
