Can two 4.5" reds and a 6" ternetzi live in a 33g,(no decor) for a little less then a month? Im getting a bigger tank as soon as I move my room downstairs which will be in a month. Will the ternetzi be to territorial and kill the reds or will they be fine?

id be more concerned with the tern............ maybe try a divider so you dont have to risk your luck

If I put in a divider it would only give them 18"x12" swimming space so I think thats to small.

you can try it..keep on eye on them,feed them well..if it gets too much of bullying going around separate as suggested..good luck and keep us posted..

I had 3 reds in the 33 and 1 died. Then I got a chance to get a ternetzi at my fishstore (any other piranhas other then reds are hard to get around here) so i bought him, i dont have him yet, hes at the store on hold. I will let them live together and if i see their fighting i will put a divider. thanks for the info guys

Hope you can upgrade on your tank sometime soon too. Having a divider is a good idea, but would also be uncomfortable and will cause stress in your fish after awhile.

Yea its a yellow natt, its in a tank with other reds at the store. Also they got it from Oliver at belowwater.com so im pretty sure it is one. Im picking it up on thursday and i cant wait.
