ive got 3 rbps, biggest is about 3inch, one slightly smaller and one which is about 2.5inches. funny thing is the smallest one is the only one with no fin nips at all. he seems to compensate for his size by trying to be the most dominant guy in there.
funny to watch him chasing the biggest one round.
anyone else have their smallest P running the tank?

When i had my RBP's the smallest one was the first to go at the food, and also the only one that would charge my finger if i put it up to the tank.

My smallest p is also doing all the fin nipping. It's getting bad now as one is down to the flesh! Anything I can do to stop this apart from taking him out?

You could try changing up the decor of the tank in order to force the fish into re-establishing territories. This might help prevent some skirmishes for a while. You could also try adding a powerhead or two to distract the fish into playing in the current instead of fighting.

mine was like that also....until the biggest one "jaws" got pissed off and ate the other two....

my small ones always eat first, they will also hold thier ground if a bigger one tries to take the food away.
