Has anyone bred emperor tetra's before?

I have some of them in my redbelly tank, and one pair seems to be hitting it off big time
The male is always chasing the female, shivering all over his body like a spastic, and they often retreat discretely into a patch of large-leafed plants, to do their 'thing', I guess.
I think it's pretty cool (even though they're just tiny flake eaters) if they would spawn, so does anyone has some tips for me. I'm not planning to set up a seperate fry tank (too much hassle, and it would probably freak the bejeesus out of my reds), but are their things I could take into consideration so it'll work out?

Thanks

If you set aside a part of your tank - put up a divider - they might stand a chance.
the problem is likely to be preventing the adults from eating the eegs, so you might want to use marbles instead of gravel.
other than that and raising the temp slightly I have no other ideas.
