one of my rbp's has a dark spot on his lower jaw. it almost looks like brusing or something. i dont have a digi to take any pics though.

could possibly be a mark from banging the glass is he active? or maybe a little bite that has cleared up that sometimes leave darker scar tissue

im sure its just a minor wound and nothing to be concerned about. the rate piranhas heal it will be gone in no time

I have fake rocks made of plastic and live plants. the mark just happened over night. And it almost looks like a bruise. I also added a small amount of aquarium salt.

Is it right on the tip of his lower jaw?
If so, it's a mild form of what's refered to as a "Chimple."

They get it when they hit against the side of the glass.
No worries.

"Chimples", are rarely dark. White, maybe red or pinkish. This is probably something else, but without a picture, it's a all guesses.
