[Umbilical Syllables]

I've got a 6 g thats not in use right now so i was thinking about trying some betta breeding. Can anyone lend some insight as to how i should set it up? ie, light, substrate, plants (live), filtration. I've tried it once before but didnt have a high success rate. Any tips at all are greatly appreciated.
