there are so many and so much i dont know about canister filters so im asking the pros here . anyhow yes im planning on setting up a 75-100g tank full of P's. what brand and what model is best for the tank? is having a canister better than having a hang on power filter better?

well you can get all kinds of different types of filtration systems such as:
canistar filter
undergravel filter
undergravel flows
trickle filters
box filters
sponge filters
.. and you can even build your own as well.

why not try etting an aquaclear 500 or even 2 and maybe an undergravel system if you can too :smile:

go with a canster filter there the best for big tanks 75g is alot of water and u need the best filter to keep u water clean and heathly for ur fish
