I love the beastie boys, but what the f*ck? Im sick of seeing celebrities protesting the thought of War. who the f*ck cares what they think? they make movies, tv shows, and sing for our enjoyment. I like watching the Oscars, im a movie buff, but not this year, I know that alot of the acceptance speeches will be a load of bullshit about the upcoming war. I did like the beat to that song at least, too bad they wasted it.

*sigh* When will people get it through their skulls about the purpose of war? If you think that Saddam Hussein gives a rat's ass about diplomacy then you're kidding yourself. For 12 years he has defied the UN, lied to the world and done as he's pleased. Why did he back out of Kuwait? Because the US flexed it's muscle. Why did he start destroying those missiles recently? Because the US and Britain flexed their muscles. He only does what he has to when it's clear he's about to be attacked,a nd even then he does just enough to curry favor with the people who can't see the forest for the trees. Sanctions, treaties, they don't mean anything to him. Do we need another 12 years of this crap before people get it? It's about time someone stood up to the UN and said "ok, put your money where your mouth is and follow through with what you've been saying".

Artists and actors should just stick to what they do, making music and movies. They don't really hold any sway, most people ignore what they say about political issues. At least most people are smart enough to ignore them, it's almost embarassing watching it. Haven't listened to the Beasty Boys in years. Anyone remember Rage Against the Machine? They got real annoying real quick.

HAHAHA.. Funny, but I have to agree with thePACK. The Beatie Boys are considered pioneers with hip-hop, but damn... stick to your roots!! Dont sell out like all these other Mainstream junkies trying to make a name for themselves. Dont cross over just because whats happening within the times..

....i think all the actors who made a war movie should give back the money they made off of it....because if they don't support the war now, then why are they making war movies to begin with?

the US has! many upon many a times, but we keep getting shot down because the french are a bunch of pansied @$$holes who have become saddam's bit_ches....the french always waiting to become some dictators little bit_h!......i'm just waiting for our president to realize that the UN can't do jack $#!t if the US goes into iraq alone!

I've loved the Beasties for a decade now and the new beat on their song is good old fashion Beastie goodness. The lyrics don't bother me because its just their opinion its not going to confirm or change my mind.

Bush does realize how useless the UN is becoming, that's why he was simply trying to get votes to prove the majority was for action while France was just being self-important flaunting their veto power. I thought the permanent members were supposed to be some sort of world power, France is probably the most useless country in the UN and with veto power. Before this I didn't really think about the French much, but they reminded us why they got pushed over two world wars in a row. First they thumb their noses at the West, then when they're in trouble they cry for help. Nice country, but the people leave much to be desired.

i consider france a useless country overall! they bent over for the kaiser in germany the first time, bent over for hitler the second time, and now they're bending over for saddam....what next, they bend over for china?
