I am interested in a couple Super Reds and I am wondering if these fish are just a gimick or are they both indeed the same fish with great color. I know they are ultimatly the same fish as the Red Belly but are George and Pedro ultimatly advertising the same fish?

yes but they ae probaly from different rivers so they may vary....

A super red is a P. nattereri collected in Northern Brasil and - I think - Peru: that's the defining characteristic of a super red (as it is a geographical variant), not it's color or pattern (wild reds are in most cases brightly colored).
So I'd assume that reds sold as supers are indeed from that locality.
