I have 2 Tiger Loaches and yesterday i bought some feeders for the first time in months, treatt for the cichllids, and I see my 3 inch loach bite a feeder by the tail and start eating it tailfirst, the loache's mouth isnt big enough for the head so he starts ramming it against the gravel to push it down and mash th head in, its funny to watch. So back to my original question are they known to eat feeders?

some species of loaches can be ridiculously aggressive, despite their harmless-looking appearance. There's lots of accounts of certain species killing other fish larger than themselves, but your post is the first time I personally have read of them actually consuming other fish.
