Does anyone know how long a tank has to site after being redone?
I have a tank that I took apart to replace one side piece .I spent hours stripping the old silicone and have just resealed it. How long does it have to sit before adding water to it?
Thanks
Pete

p.s.
I really don't think it's worthwhile to do this.
I will just buy a new aquarium next time.

It really depends on the size of the tank if it is worth it to repair or not.

It should also tell you on the packaging of the sylicone...the stuff I used was 48 hours.

Thanks.

It's a 30 gallon and it wasn't worth it for me.
I suppose a larger tank might make it more rewarding .
