My oscar just got a big scratch on his side from a rock. Im gonna watch it but if worse comes to worse i want to know if there's a safer alternative to using melafix to heal him up. Any suggestions?

Melafix is pretty safe it has a smell though, some people like it some dont. Clean water and just alittle bit of salt might do the trick though.

I wouldnt add anything Oscars are pretty quick healers on there own. Scratch should be healed in a week or so with nothing

melafix is safe for corals, I wouldn't worry about him. Just give him some aqua plus, all you'll need.
