My 7" P's have been in my tank for almost a month now. 3 clown loaches, 1 bala shark, 1 reed fish and 2 pacu's have managed to stay alive with not even a fin nip. I can't believe it. The P's will only touch feeders.

A month is hard to tell. I had an oscar with my reds when I had 7 of them and he lasted all of 2 months then one day he was gone. I hope you end up with different results. Good luck with that set up...it sounds like it would be pretty interesting to watch.

Yep one day you could start to lose fish, but sounds like you are off to a good start. They only thing I can keep with my reds is a Pleco. My Spilo CF is just a little guy and I'm having a hard time keeping anything with him

Before I put the P's in there, I had a foot long irridescent shark in there. The Pacu's ate all of its fins so I put it out of its misery. Now the Pacu's (I thinks its only one of them) are even biting the piranha's tails. And the p's don't do a thing about it. Weird eh!
