I think it would be all over the web/TV if it was indeed the case - you know how quick the media often are when dealing with scopes like this one.
After Bin Laden and that Egyptian dude, Al Zarqawi is Al Qaeda's number 3 guy, so capturing him isn't exactly an everyday event...
