I had four piranhas in a 30 gallon tank. My fiance and her brother tried to move it one day and the tank shattered. I kept the piranhas in a ten gallon tank for a couple days untill I could purchase a larger tank. While in the ten gallon tank the little bastards ate the smallest of the four piranhas. My question is if i were to raise some RBs in a 30 gallon tank untill they were a comparable size to the ones in my 55 gallon if they would be able to live harmoniously. My tank just looks kinda bare with three little Rbs in it. If not, any recomendations on what else i might be able to put in?

Well it depends on how big they are if they are dimesized or a little bigger they are fine, but if you cramp them way too much they want to make more room and pick on the littlest one, makes since they want there room. Atleast that is what I think. I am learning as I go.

yes ..i did that with ten red ..grew them and toss them in with two 6 inche cariba and it worked out fine...at the moment i'm trying to beef up a yellow natt and he will be joining the crowd in a few months too..just remember before you add them to the bigger tank move item around inside the tank..so they won't be territorial toward it..
