i have a 55 gallon with 2 AC 300's. I was wondering , about the tubes that connect to the filter and hang in the water. i have one short length , and the one more towards the middle i used the extension that it came with , is this ok , or should they both be long , or short??? thanks

The deeper the tank the longer the intake tube should be imo. It really wont make much difference with your tank, I just like the intake as far away than the return as the filter will allow.

ok , i figured one will clean the lower area , and the other higher. thanks

Usually you want the intake as low as you can have it, unless you have SAND.
