These are growing in popularity as people see how powerful and predacious they are (see multiple member vids). They are also extremely evolved regarding their eyesight and are very intelligent animals.

Their care is low maintenance for a marine organism and there are multiple species you can keep in tanks 20 gallons and under!

Here is possibly the best link out there (along with info from wetwebmedia)

You guys apparently are new to the world of Mantis Shrimp.
Odontodactylus scyllarus is the one that is known for breaking glass, which is very, very uncommon, and can only be done by fairly large specimens. Also, they usually break the glass when digging in the substrate, and try to break the bottom when they reach it. So that can be easily prevented from happening, by putting a layer of acrylic over the bottom of the tank, or simply purchasing an acrylic tank.

Dr. Roy's List of Stomatopods

That has care sheets on all the species suitable for a home aquarium.
Also, Reef Central has the hands down, best Mantis Shrimp forum on the net, I've tried every one I can find, but theirs is the ebst by a long shot.
