and info on making them comfortable in there new home would be appreciated

still no pict , and you are going to have to get a bigger tank in like 2 months man , you will need a 120g - 135g for 8 reds. well thats what i think.

depends on what you feed them , water changes. stuff like that mine got to 3" in 2 months.

one of them is really small compaired to the others could be a problem. anyway if you want to keep them all you need to upgrade soon.

3 for life, maybe 4 if you want to push it.

i think you'll be fine for a few months, they might weed each other out........... and you will only have strong p's left........... and you wont have to worry about gettin rid of any....... nice p's though

Trust Croz when he say your gonna need to upgrade in a few months, also growing up very fast. Your babies can stay in the 55 gal for say.. 3-4 months, but your gonna need to definately upgrade before that. Since these guys are gonna grow up together, you'll have more chances of them shoaling and not fighting within the group when adult stage. A 125 gal would be convenient for all your 8 RBs as long as you keep them well fed and do water changes. (check out my signature)

you could keep them well fed and try to keep them all. As long as you're not worried about losing any to cannibalism.
