Im building 175 gallon tank and durring the school year I work at a really cheap place so i make no money. In the summer I will have plenty of money to finish my tank. My uncle has a 50 gallon and i really wanna get a 6 inch rhom while i work on the tankl on and off. see any problems with putting a 6 incher in a 50 gallon for a few months?

yeah im gonna make a divider in the 175 at about 60/115 so i can have like 2 piraya or 3 reds and the 115 left for the rhom for life.....

Temper, temper...

I keep a 6" Manueli in a 50g tank (dimensions 40x16x20"), and he has plenty of room for quite some time. He's very active, loves to race through the tank (don't ask why...), and generally seems to be very content with his home.
Until summer is definitely no problem - I think you could even keep him much longer in there (depending on your tank's dimensions until he reaches 9-10", imo.)

Make sure you get more than 2 Piraya. Two is not a good number.
