Right now I have a 180 gallon with 3 ac110 on it.

Im thinking of getting 2 fluval fx5 for it, and removing the ac110's. Will that be ok?

I have 3-6" pirayas in there and Im getting 3 more in a week. Im selling 1 so I'll have 5 altogether.

Also I have a large piece of driftwood in the middle. Should I add plants or leave as much room as I can?

Thanks
Brian

the 2 fx5's would be INSANE filtration on that tank, you could definatly take those ac's out....water circulation should be great with those things.....the deco is all up to you man, large drift with realistic fake plants would be nice...those piraya's will love it

if you want to remove the aquaclear 110 you can but If I were you I would just leave them there for extra filtration....You may add plants if you want.....all depends on the type of look you like

i think i would also only get ne fx5 and leave the old filter where it is, 2 fx5s is alot of money......................but if you can afford it go for it,

i think 6 would be ok in a 180 also for a while....................
