good advice...RhomZilla said:YOu can cheat all you want!! But its up to your fish to comply. You've heard about all the rules regarding 1 P per 20 gal. Its basically up to you, but theres never a guarantee. Your best bet is sticking a Serra in there.

Yepps.. it all depends on the individual fish. Good Luck Shiznick!! The only thing I can really tell you is to bring your temp down to try to make 'em less aggressive towards each other. Please keep us posted!!!It might work, it might not work. It didn't work for me.
A Serra is a catagorized group of piranhas which consists of S. Rhom, S. Spilo, S. Medinai..etc They're solitary fish that usually cannot be with any other of its kind or another fish.shiznick said:ok whats a serra and where do I find one??
Very true!!! They will eventually get too big for your 29 gal. But that wont happen for yrs. I've had both my Rhoms in a 30 gal and it doesnt even seem like they've gotten bigger.. not even a centimeter!!sccavee said:Rhoms grow very slow, but you are correct that they get way too big for a 29. A gold will also have a hard time living in a 29 for life.
