$899 is too much for a 289 gal tank. Over here in Cali, you can find deals and even LFS prices like that for around, no more then $700. Then again, I noticed that you guys in the East Coast have tanks alot more expensive, but have cheaper prices on Ps. Vice versa on this side.

Also, if your gonna go buy that 280 gal for that price, I hope its acrylic not glass. Wouldn't be worth it for a glass FT fot that price!!!

its glass around here thats the only tank ive see of that size but i also didnt look too hard

Yeah too heavy.. all the preasure of water it holds together can easily break within age.. less stable then acrylic.. after a couple yrs, glue might get eatten away.. cannot use if ever decide to make salt water tank.

I was just going to ask if it was acrylic but they are much nicer as well.
