Really good species up there, Few I wish I had access to,
will do some research, I know some from that region are endangered
or protected so I would not just go out and catch them, I'll do a bit of
research and post it later for anyone interested

Well I did some research, all in oregon are protected,
Do not even think about touching any, There is though
a season for fishing them, it is fairly strict and you must
have a permit.

Here are a few links regarding them
General Lamprey information
Klamath Basin Lampreys
West coast Lamprey species
Pacific coast Lamprey species
Hope some of this info helps
I also have a Large number of scientific papers that have been written
on Pacific coast species in PDF form if anyone is interested

When I get time I will post a series of links on eastcoast Species next

I use dead Lamprey as bait when i go pike fishing over here in the UK!
Opinions are like a**holes, everybodys got one! (some people have two!)

60gallon(uk)
Common pleco,Kribensis,Tiger Barbs, Neon tetras and black neon tetras, guppys and a Red Tailed Shark currently call this place home. A fish munching blue yabby crayfish which eats tiger barbs fast was moved into a small tank with some white cloud minnows.

Thread ressurection...

Learned about these as a kid, but never thought anyone had them as pets, that's pretty wild. Parasites usually gross me out, no offense, I know to each their own...

Let us know how it's going with this, ok?
