Sad season for London clubs, Chels finishes 2nd, Spurs out of the CL, Gunners could be finishing 4th and Hammers relegated. Good luck next season boys! :pfury:

Hopefully he can replicate what he did with Bolton and get the Hammers back where they belong...

It would be nice but in reality there are only 3 or 4 teams who can win the Premier league, an 1 o 2 more who can finish in the top six. That means next season will be the same as last season.....14 team trying to avoid relegation. It seems football is all but finished as a sport and is now a power-crazy business. I tried to get tickets for England v Switzerland at Wembley today but the minimum price was 66 per ticket ! Even though I only live about 8 stops away on the train, I refuse to pay that sort of money.

Thats the thing though there will always be someone who is willing to pay an inflated price. Clubs can't afford to price everyone out, but if they can still sell tickets, prices will continue to go up. I'm assuming West Ham wanted the Olympic Stadium to increase they're gate income, maybe with more seats to fill they could afford to decrease the price of their tickets which would've been good for both the fans and the club. It's too bad they relegated though because it may not be as attractive for a neutral to go to the games.

Decreasing ticket prices was the plan apparently
