thanks again, got a great video yesterday of them begging for food at the surface, not scared of me at all like the last shoal, maybe its because theres so many of them, they just swim around my hands in the tank, they don't all hide at the opposite end of the tank.
the food lands in the convicts nest and they chase them away all the time, looks very natural as in the wild there would be a lot scarier things chasing them around and the shoal would have to wait their turn ;)

that is why we've always said if you are going to do pygo shoals, go large!...they will behave better and socialize better and chances are there will be less casualties than normal... :cheers:

they already have :D .....fry didn't last too long though lol. were gone by morning, catfish ate them I think

yeah they did, but the catfish are armored and come out at night, you don't see them move, so I guess its hard to stop them

which is exactly the reason why most people keep convicts by themselves if they are going to breed them... :thumbsup:
