Except for the provision on not re-entering until one month later, the provision on not accepting them outside of formalized calls for pics and the fact that I would like to limit the entries to one per person, I have also decided to use therizman1's rules for POTM/NPOTM. (The POTM ones are the same as the NPOTM ones, except for the part where they must be of piranhas.) Please read them; they are here. If you do not agree to these rules, please do not submit. Especially important is the provision that the picture not be previously posted...or it is removed prior to the voting thread's posting.

* Fine print: The prize is only applicable to the purchase of fish, not to shipping. Speaking of fish, you cannot use the certificate to order a fish which is illegal in the state in which you are located! Only one per person per year will be available, so if you win twice in a single year, you can only receive the certificate once. The prize is non-transferable, so if you win it, you are the only one who can use it.

Alright guys...we are going to tighten up the requirements on the buy/sell a bit. From now on....a location and shipping info will be required in either the title or topic description. By location I mean city and state...unless it is something like Chicago...then that would be fine. The idea is that anyone reading your advertisement from the main buy/sell page should be able to tell before opening the ad....if this is an item they can purchase or not.

What I have always done is:

Topic Title: 16" rhombeus needing a new home!!!
Topic Description: Portland, Oregon...Pick up only


That way it is very easy to browse the forum and not need to click on every fricken thread to see if it is a fish or item you might be able to purchase.

You will be asked nicely to change your ad to conform to the new format...however members that are not willing to follow these simple instructions will have their ad removed from the buy/sell forum. So please...make it easy on everyone and just do it right the first time!
